The Psychology Department will present a Youth Mental Health First Aid training event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 10, in the Julio S. León Health Sciences Center.

The training, led by Aubrey Doss and Deena Murdock from the Ozark Center, is designed specifically for people who know or work with teens at risk for harmful behaviors, including suicide. Participants will receive a certificate verifying their training, which is good for three years.
