Nick Edwards, Joplin’s new city manager, is asking for campus’ help as he undertakes a virtual “Listening Tour.”

A 2007 graduate of Missouri Southern who earned his bachelor’s degree in political science, previously served as assistant city manager in Lee’s Summit. He began his new role in Joplin in March.

The nine-question survey seeks opinions on what makes Joplin special, opportunities for the city and what changes residents would like to see in the next 5, 10 and 15 years. Click here to take the survey.
