Missouri Southern’s steel band and trombone quartet will perform a “Caribbean Rhapsody in Brass and Steel” at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, in Webster Hall’s Corley Auditorium.

The concert, which will be the last one on campus for the year, concludes the 2020 Caribbean Semester.

“People can expect a taste of the traditional music from Trinidad and Tobago,” said Chase Neely, MSSU percussion instructor. “They’ll also get to learn about the historical background involving the music and instruments.”

The event is open to a limited number of students, faculty and staff (no more than 96). It will also be live-streamed on the Music Department’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MSSUMusic/
