Southern Summit: Lions Together will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, on the third flood of Billingsly Student Center, and virtually via Microsoft Teams.
Open to all campus faculty and staff members, the professional development event is packed with dozens of educational sessions designed to engage and educate.
Featuring four learning tracks, Southern personnel will have the opportunity to learn from peers and other experts about leadership development, student retention/recruitment, employee engagement, curriculum design, available campus resources, and more. Follow a learning track or mix it up, the choice is yours!
New this year is the Lion Lounge, the perfect place to network with colleagues, grab a quick snack or enjoy a hot or cold beverage before or after Summit sessions. It’s also the location of the Morning Meet-Up, a pre-Summit get-together scheduled for 8 to 9 a.m., offering breakfast goodies and engaging conversation.
