Hosted by the President’s Office, MOSO Connect is a series of engaging presentations designed to gather and connect faculty and staff from across campus.

The series will highlight various programs, projects and departments. It’s a chance for faculty and staff to tap into Missouri Southern’s unique offerings, expand networks and learn from colleagues.

The Oct. 26 event put the spotlight on global education. Speakers focused on opportunities with study abroad, the Intensive English Program, international education and how to get involved.

Presenters included Dr. Chad Stebbins, director of the Institute of International Studies; Aaron Carmichael, assistant professor, International English Program; Stacey Clay, coordinator of International Admissions and Student Services; and international and study abroad students.

Held at noon, MOSO Connect features a complimentary boxed lunch to faculty and staff who RSVP to attend the discussion. Locations for the event will vary.

The next MOSO Connect will be held Dec. 3 in Connor Ballroom, with a presentation by Dr. David Sharlow, associate professor of music, and a performance by vocal students who are preparing for the annual “Seasonal Choral Flourish.”
