An open house event is planned at Lion Village, the latest addition to Missouri Southern State University’s residential housing options, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16.

The four-story, 94,000-square-foot complex houses more than 300 students in a combination of four-bedroom suites, traditional two-bedroom units and private rooms. The suites include a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and cabinets, as well as a living room with multi-functional seating.

“We’re very pleased with Lion Village and the amenities it offers students to connect socially and academically,” said Josh Doak, Missouri Southern’s director of residence life. “The building has been well received by students and study and community spaces are well utilized.”

Tours of Lion Village will be given after a short presentation.
