Faculty Load and Compensation (FLAC) is a new, online process that will greatly improve Southern’s faculty contract process. Starting this summer, gone forever will be the days of paper contracts and blue ink!
All courses will require changes to align with the new FLAC process.FLAC training will include an overview of this new process; the introduction of new schedule types; and step-by-step instructions on how to set up a course instructor, assign courses and select compensation.
All campus personnel who are involved in entering course and faculty data in Banner are required to complete FLAC training.
FLAC Training sessions will be held at 9 and 11 a.m., and 1 and 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, in Room 418 of Spiva Library and via Microsoft Teams. Space is limited for both training methods. In-person sessions will require attendees to wear masks and practice social distancing.
To reserve your in-person or online seat, complete the FLAC Training Reservation Form.
