Due to increased inclement weather in the forecast this afternoon, the Missouri Southern campus will be closing at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 23. MSSU will pivot to an online learning and telework model at that time. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to leave campus safely as soon as they are able.

Students, please check the syllabi for your classes, as each has information regarding online learning. If you have any questions, please stay in contact with your instructors to ensure classwork can continue as planned.

Faculty members, please remind your students to review the syllabus for virtual learning instructions. Let them know you are available via email to answer any questions they might have during this period.

Staff, if you have the capabilities to work from home we would appreciate if you would do so. Check in with your supervisor regarding any questions you might have. Please check your campus email for additional details.

  • The Rec Center will be open until 7 p.m.
